Looking For Led Fog Lights For Motorcycles

There’s a number of fog lights, specifically designed for motorcycles, on the market nowadays but what about LED ones? I’ve been looking for some inexpensive led fog lights, for my BMW R1150GS, for quite some time now but to no avail. The cheapest ones I found where on ebay but I really don’t like the design! The most common ones come with a number of LEDs on the front coming out of the overall casing!

I have once noted that Touratech are working on some LED fog lamps but they’re still not on the market. The picture I saw looked nice and been told, by the same people at Touratech, that they should be priced at around £200 each, thus around £400 to get a pair together with all the necessary equipment to mount them. Don’t know but in my opinion they’re a bit over-priced. One could say that whatever Touratech and/or Wunderlisch sells are over-priced!

Just a couple of days ago, while doing some research again, I came across something really interesting …. yes, LED fog lights for motorcycles that look good too and these are Trail Tech Dual Light Kit. They’re not so cheap but they’re 50% less than the Touratech ones ….. in fact, they’re priced for just £210! Reasonable! The only issue about this is that they’re meant to be installed on the handlebar or on a flat surface but I believe it’s easy to mount them somewhere else. I was thinking of  mounting them onto my engine guard but still not 100% convinced. Another option would be to buy some aftermarket machine-cut brackets and then mount the LEDs onto them. Checking all options and as soon as I decide to buy them and they’re in hand, I’ll share with you my final decision and will also upload some photos for you to check.
