How many of us waited for November to come to visit the EICMA this year? And the wait is now over. Show began last Thursday, the 15th, and will stay open till Sunday, 18th! Thus, if you haven’t been there already, then, quickly, take the train, car or bike and head to Milan!!
As expected, there’s always something new at this show! Just few weeks ago we saw BMW launching their new water-cooled boxer engine on the GS models. Today, at the EICMA, we can see this incredible model with our eyes, just there in front of us! But what else? BMW thought as well of those who have been at INTERMOT and who had the pleasure to see the GS; this time they’ve launched the new 800GT! It’s a tourer bike but for those who are not as yet ready to take the big step of owning an even greater and more powerful bike! Having said all this, it seems that 2013 is going to be another looked forward year for the BMW enthusiasts ……. they are mentioning some other model to celebrate their 90 years of existence Yes, BMW has been manufacturing / selling motorcycles since 90 years now!!! What could it be? No clues as yet but we will investigate and keep you abreast!
Now only BMW gave us a treat though, other manufacturers like Piaggio, Moto Guzzi & Aprilia did too! Piaggio came out with a new Vespa 946, Aprilia launched their new Caponord and Moto Guzzi launched a model called California! Others like Triumph, Harley Davidson, Ducati, etc ….. did present some of their latest models too!
