I’m sure everyone knows that, out there, there’s a number of motorcycle adventure schools ……. but my question today is this; are they really worth it? The main courses everyone seems to offer are safer riding skills in on-road, different levels of off-road riding skills and some also offer you the possibility to dirty your hands in their adventure maintenance courses 🙂
Believe that BMW owners are well informed about the courses BMW offers across the globe, especially in the UK and the US, through the BMW Off Road Academy. The main aim behind this was to help its riders realize what kind of bike they have and at the end of the day utilize the bike for the purpose it has been built and for what it’s really capable of. There’s a vast range of courses and all these can be found on their website, www.bmw-motorrad.com under the World of BMW title! However, not only BMW offers such courses, there’s a number of
independent companies, across the globe, that offers such possibilities, like for example AdventureSchool in Italy, of Stefano Sacchini, etc ….. etc …..
I’ve never been to one and am really looking forward to experience such courses myself …. just need to find the time to go 🙂 and then I will be able to answer the question that has been in my mind for such a long time ……
“Are these just commercial or one does really gets something good out of them?” What I’m looking for? I would like to build more confidence on the bike!!!
