What’s on for 2015? I’m eagerly waiting for some improvements on the NEW R1200GSA LC and some more colours to choose from too 😉 Here’s what new, based on the latest BMW Motorroad Press Release!!

To start with, it’s important to note that one can order the new 2015 models with the new configuration, from their respective BMW Motorrad dealers, starting from August 2014!

Starting from the GS entry model, the F700GS, will have some new paint finishes / paint combinations. It’s BMW F800GSgoing to be available in Alpine white, in Black storm metallic with red frame and spring strut and in racing blue metallic. They will discontinue the red apple metallic, the ostra grey and the glacier silver metallic!

New paint finish will also be available for the F800GS. This model will now be available in racing red, light white with red frame and spring strut, and the present Alpine White. The present blue and Kalamata metallic will no longer be available. The 800GSA will be available in Alpine White and in the Kalamata metallic matt, presently available on the 800. The racing red and the sandrover matt will no longer be available!

The F800GT will now be also available in Montego blue metallic, together with the present dark graphite metalluc and the light white but will not be offered any longer in the valencia orange metallic!

There goes the R1200GS LC 🙂 Just like the 700GS & the 800GS, the R1200GS will be available in different paint BMW R1200GS LCfinishes too but won’t stop here!! The engineers focused their effort on enhancing the running smoothness, by increasing the gyrating masses in the crankshaft, and are now also giving the option to pre-book it with BMW’s Keyless Ride System and with the Shift Assistant Pro, which will give the rider the possibility to change gears without clutch! This model will be offered in Alpine White, frozen dark blue metallic and Black Storm Mechanic. The present bluefire and the thunder grey metallic will no longer be available!

Just like with the standard R1200GS LC, the R1200GS LC Adventure will be available with the Keyless Ride System and the the Shift Assistant Pro. Apart from that, one can even order it with lowered suspension!

BMW K1600GTIn 2015, we will be seeing the RT in a 2-colour paint finish and with BMW’s Keyless Ride System! RT’s new paint finish will be a combination of San Marino Blue Metallic together with Granite Grey Metallic matt but will be stopping the Quartz Blue Metallic!

Some changes will as well take place on BMWs luxury touring bike, the K1600GT abd GTL. To start with, they will be coming up as well with a new paint finish but the focus will be on the Dynamic Traction Control and the BMW Motorrad Keyless Ride System. These models will also be equipped with a daytime running light and Hill Start Control.

There will also be a Special model, the K1300S Motorsport. As most of you know it’s a sporty touring bike but does offer BMW K1600GTLloads of comfort for long distances! ABS as standard like all other BMW models, HP wheels & footrests and an Akrapovic silencer will be the main news of this model! New paint finishes will be available for this model too, in particularly a Black Storm metallic one!

The only changes we know of for the K1300R will be the paint finish, which will be available in Sapphire black metallic / Black Satin gloss. The present racing red / sapphire lack metallic will no longer be available!

And there goes the final BMW model to be upgraded, the C Evolution, BMW’s powered scooter! In 2015 this can be ordered with a comfort seat!
